We commenced exports in the year 1972 under a partnership business with the view of exporting only value added produce from Sri Lanka. Sindbad (private) limited  was incorporated in 1988 as a Family company. We Pioneered the Export of spice Gift packs.

Our Achievement: We have won four Presidential awards 1883, 1993, 1994, 1995.

We have had the privilege of being the one and only export company in Sri Lanka to have won 10 export awards of the National Chamber of Exporters for 10 consecutive years from 1992 to 2002. After which we voluntarily stepped down from the Export Award Participation.
